This light lab was a quick one-weekend project. The goal was to take inspiration from the story of a play to create a 2 minute long sequence of cues set to music.
I have admired the play, Death Of A Salesman for a long time, and was thrilled to explore it through a light lab project. Central to my concept is the juxtaposition between nature, and a changing, more industrial city. Through both the set and lighting, I expressed Willy's longing for something new, and his inability to escape the rut he has dug himself into. The sequence of looks are set to "Imagination" by Glenn Miller and "Chant De Limos" performed by Emmanuel Pahud.
